“CPF – TRAVEL WITH US” PHOTO CONTEST RULES
1- Contest description
In it’s cultural activities, CruisePhotoFactory promotes the first edition of “CPF – Travel With Us” photo contest: the contest is finalized to show our world and all the thousands of sides through the photographic images.
2- how to participate
Entering the competition is free and implies acceptance of this announcement. The enter the contest “CPF – Travel With Us” you must be 18 or older, and is open the photographers of all nationalities. The direct employees of CruisePhotoFactory are not allowed to participate. To enter the contest “CPF – Travel With Us” is necessary to send an email to:
including the images for the contest and, fully copied, the provisions of this announcement, stating that you understand and accept completely the terms. You can send between 1 and 3 images with the specifications found in Section 5. The images not meeting the specifications will be automatically eliminated from the competition without possibility of compensation.
3jury
Jury is composed by the following group of experts, photographers and photo editors. CruisePhotoFactory reserves the right to add any other juror from here to the deadline of the contest. At the time of writing, members of the Jury are:Randy Olson, photographer National Geographic

4- Prizes
The jury, by its final and unappealable view, will identify the following awards:
First prize: Photographic Workshop CruisePhotoFactory chosen by the participant
Second prize: Light kit Elinchrom Ranger Quadra
Third prize: Datacolor Spyder3Studio
Honorable Mention: Datacolor Spyder3Pro
No prizes will be awarded by lot.

Additional information: any additional information must be included in the IPTC metadata
Images manipulation is not permitted, so as images that falls in to categories like graphic art, digital art, photomontages, or combinations of more shots like HDR images. It is not allowed to write text on the image.
In order to verify the selected images, it may be required the original file: the unwillingness to provide the original files will result in immediate exclusion from the competition. The participant must be able to provide the images sent in high resolution if required.
6- Disclaimer Images
The author of images, submitting to the contest “CPF – Travel With Us” assumes full responsibility for possible releases may be necessary. Participation in the competition implies the author owns the rights to use any images from the subjects photographed, use of which he assumes in full the responsibility. It will not be CruisePhotoFactory’s burden to verify the need of any release: should it be needed, and the author will not be able to provide it, besides the immediate exclusion from the competition, the author will be responsible for any disputes.
7- Timing
The competition is open from March 25, 2011 until May 8th, 2011(GMT +1) On May 18th, the winners will be announced.
8- Use of the images
By entering the contest “CPF – Travel With Us” the copyrights of the images are not sold to CruisePhotoFactory nor to its partners, with the exception of the possibility to use the images in promotional purposes of the contest. The copyrights of the works will remain property of participants who authorize the use of images for competition publications related “CPF – Travel With Us” without being paid any compensation to the author or any third parties. No image can be used for different purposes.
9- Privacy
The data collected for the contest “CPF-Travel With Us” will not be disclosed to third parties and will be used exclusively by CruisePhotoFactory. The names of participants will be visible in the slide show on the site cruisephotofactory.com. The winners names, associated to images, will be published on various media. It is possible at any time to cancel personal data by sending an email to CruisePhotoFactory.
10- Acceptance of terms
I have read, understood and accepted in full the terms above. The declaration of the false leads my immediate disqualification.
